Rebecca Pearl-Martinez is a researcher and policy strategist providing technical support on energy, climate change and gender to UN agencies, donors, international organizations and governments. She is currently leading research on socio-economic trends for Sustainable Energy for All and coordinating a global climate change strategy process for Oxfam. She recently served as Research Fellow at the Fletcher School of Law & Diplomacy at Tufts University. Previously she served as data specialist for a major UNEP report, developed a training program for Power Africa and created an environmental index nominated for a Katerva Award. She was the 2016 recipient of the C3E Advocacy Award on clean energy from the US Department of Energy, MIT and Stanford University. She started her career at the UN office in Ecuador and was involved with community development initiatives in Nicaragua. She holds a Master of Arts degree in Sustainable International Development from the Heller School at Brandeis University.
